Minimising Waste



Where does all the rubbish go? How can we recycle what we use? Children are introduced to recycling, reusing and reducing waste. We explore how we can include waste minimization in everyday life through interactive songs, story, puppets and drama. This program is delivered by early childhood trained facilitators and includes teaching notes for educators. It is suitable for 4-5 year olds, 1 hour in duration and 25 children max.

Growing a Garden- How does your garden grow? Growing vegetables or flowers? Through music, drama and props, children will explore what plants need to grow healthy and strong, such as water and sun. Interactive discussions will also investigate vegetables, flowers and seeds. (Suitable for 3-5 year olds)

Breathing Clean Water- How can we keep oceans clean for the fish? Do platypus like dirty water? With children, we explore pollution in our waterways, air pollution and how animals, frogs and fish need clean water and air to live happily ever after. (Suitable for 2-5 year olds)
